Contract speech therapyfor Texasschools.

Speech-language support that fits the school day. The Adaptive University works with districts, charter networks, cooperatives and campuses to plan contract SLP and SLPA support around student needs and school routines.

Coverage for the work your team needs to complete

A vacancy, leave or growing evaluation list can create several needs at once. AU can discuss direct and indirect speech-language services, assessment work, ARD/IEP participation, AAC consultation and documentation support within the same assignment. The agreed scope identifies which responsibilities the clinician will cover.

  • Temporary or ongoing school SLP coverage
  • SLPA services with an appropriate supervision plan
  • Speech-language evaluations and reevaluations
  • Caseload overflow and evaluation backlog support
  • Compensatory speech services when arranged with the district

A clear handoff into your school system

A useful coverage plan starts with the number of campuses, student age groups, expected workload, requested schedule and service dates. We also discuss district systems, documentation expectations, team contacts and how the incoming professional will coordinate with staff. Share an overall description first; student records can be exchanged through an agreed secure process.

DFW in-person and Texas virtual options

In-person and hybrid coverage can be discussed throughout Dallas–Fort Worth. Statewide virtual or hybrid support is available by arrangement when appropriate for the assignment. On-site evaluation and supervision requests elsewhere in Texas are reviewed individually. Current staffing, travel logistics and student needs determine the final plan.

Start with your most immediate need

Tell us whether you need therapy coverage, evaluations, SLPA supervision, AAC support or a combination. Include the location, preferred start date and anticipated schedule. AU will discuss the requested scope and availability before a contract or placement is finalized.

Common questions

Can AU cover a leave or a short-term staffing gap?

Yes. Short-term coverage is within AU’s service scope. Dates, workload, location and available staffing determine whether a particular assignment can be accepted.

Can a district request evaluations without full-time therapy coverage?

Yes. Evaluation projects and backlog support can be discussed separately from ongoing therapy services.

Can AU help with disciplines beyond speech?

Multidisciplinary staffing may be coordinated in response to a defined need and available qualified professionals. The service scope and staffing are confirmed before any placement is promised.
